Wife's Curlew first soak and trip to the lake

First thing was to throw it in the pool and make sure it didn't leak:

 

Then we put a live person (my wife) in it, she couldn't paddle very far...

 

Then we took it up the Cranberry Lake, NY in the Adirondaks and she used it everyday...

That is what I like to see. A boat that is used!

Every day for the week we were there, she then signed "us" up for kayak lessons back here at home.  I think those are in August.

My wife just took a class from my buddy, she calls it he Kayaking for Dummies. :-)  First time I have seen him 'in action' and I must say I was impressed. So many things that I had to learn the hard way I am convinced lessons are well worth the money!
