I think there are some errors (i.e. the last point on the first frame metric is y=0 x=0, the first frame is shorter than the transom, the frame spacing along the keel is different for the engilsh and metric frames). Is there a corrected set? Quote

Also, I did the conversion of the english to metric for the 5th point of the first frame, but it doesn't look right to me. That makes the 1' 6" frame ~10cm shorter than the transom. When I sketched it out it looked to me like it should be more like y=27.5, z=37.5. The 5th point is also missing from the last 5 frames on the metric side. I converted from feet/inches no problem, but wanted to let you know. Quote

That makes the 1' 6" frame ~10cm shorter than the transom. Just looking at the drawings and it occurred me. Yes the frame is smaller than the transom because the transom is leaning backwards. That will make it taller when laying on the bench but once installed it is laying back 20 degrees it will be in effect, shorter. I am going to put some boats up for sale this spring and once I get rid of a few, Matilda is on my list to build for myself. Quote

Kudzu Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 OK, that is not right! Now I see what you are talking about! Try using these for the point. Y=28.43 Z=36.00 I think I found the mistake I used an Excel spread sheet to format it and that cell was pulling the numbers from the wrong place. Quote
