One thing I came across, and may just be a discretionary detail, had to do with the keel. In the hull construction plan view, the keel makes a low angle transition into the stern, and in the construction details it is drawn with a radius. May be insignificant, but wouldn't the low angle transition have less bite in the water than one with the radius? Quote

The advantage of the rounded over profile is that it will stand up to more abuse than any profile with a hard corner. In the end I don't think it will make much difference in performance either way. I like the title of the thread. Just about everything to do with building boats is "just like Christmas". Quote
