vk1nf
They're endlessly usefulĀ - great for scrubbing off grease and dirt, and perfect for very fine, scratch-free sanding. The actual ScotchBrite pads work far better than the cheaper more 'plastic' onews.
PAR
I don't use them any more at all, the little bits of broken off plastic seem to get into places that you'd never expect and hover around in the air until the paint goes on, where they love to land. I consider them about the same as steel wool and will not have them anywhere near the boat, just too hard to clean up their "leavings".
