PAR Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 'Glass provides a tough, abrasion resistant sheathing and that's why it's used. If enough epoxy is used to seal the wood a good water proofer too. Plywood almost always should be sheathed. Quote

Hirilonde Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 Keep in mind that it is hard to predict the exact thickness of the outcome when glassing and coating with epoxy. Hold off building the housing until the blade is done. Don't let this deter you, but if you have a good housing, be prepared to build another. Quote
