Greeting to all of you in the Northern Hemisphere.  It is Queens Birthday weekend here in New Zealand - (I think you guys had a disagreement with one of her relatives a while back - so she is off your birthday list) - it is often seen as marking the end of the golden weather and the start of winter.  That will mean the opposite for you.

On behalf of the B and B sailors from the southern end of the planet - have a great sailing season.

You folks from there sustain us through our winters with your postings and pictures, and I very much appreciate that while hibernating from the several feet of snow that tends to pile up here.  Have a good winter and enjoy our postings of the summer's events.

There are still many here who like to keep tabs on the British royalty, as they are often in the news.  The happy and the sad events.  Our squabble with the monarchy was mostly with that German fellow who became King, if I remember correctly, and money.  Ok, it was probably over money mostly.  I doubt it would have played out the way it did if a Queen had been in power at the time.  Please enjoy the Queen's Birthday holiday and if you see her, please give her my regards.

Thanks for your wishes Richard.  As a matter of fact, I just started my season this past weekend. I took my Renegade over to the inside of Napatree Point (the very SW corner of Rhode Island)for an over night trip and sailed my S9N into Watch Hill Harbor and around.  It was still a little cool, but very enjoyable.
