The site lets the world know our adventures with the total refit of our 1922 build 34ft cruiser. She is build in Amsterdam, a wooden carvel-planked Y-bottom sailing yacht, and very, very attractive. Most of the site is in dutch language except for the photography of course, and we have lots of them. So if your interested, please give us a visit. Quote

The site looks great ... the pictures tell the story anyway, so those of us without any other language skills can still click on the "Fotos" link on the left and bring them up. Have you been working on her since 1995? Or September 2002? I think what I read on the home page is that you met your partners in a restuarant? We'd be interested in the story of how you came to be involved with such a large re-building project. Quote

For those of you who are puzzling with the dutch word "restauratie", it has nothing to do with the word restaurant, but means restoration, restore or in boating-terms: refit. Great background story on the Poolvos, although I still have this image of 5 guys in a resturant discussing buying an old boat to restore. That will teach me to try to read Dutch! Quote
