Seeing as how my funny mug (specially those crazy eyes) has made a monor topic of discussion on this wonderful forum, I thought I would share with you the origin of that image (my first avatar). I had just discovered how to take my own picture with this new (used) digital camera we just bought. I emailed that googly eyed image to a good friend in L.A. He is quite a clown and we do have some fun at times. Oh, I should mention he is also a client and currently has five of my instruments and one more on order. (the best kind of friend) Anyway....he also got a new digicam and the war was on. I sent him back a picture of me in his dream car ... a British racing green Miata that he wanted so bad he could taste it. I took a picture my wife took of me stooping to pick up dog sh ... well, droppings ... in the back yard, cropped it and dropped it into the Miata picture. I was hysterical by the time I hit "send," so my wife naturally came and asked what was up. Somehow it lost something in the translation, because it wasn't nearly as funny to her as it was to me. I sent him a picture of me playing a new guitar I made for myself. He sent it back with his head on my body...with MY new guitar. :roll: Quote
