Go the the main index page (www.messing-about.com) and do a "view source" and you'll see I've just linked in the subSilver.css. The entire page is inside a table that forms the white-on-grey background (I have a template HTML page I use, attached, with comments.) [attachment over 4 years old deleted by admin] Quote

Simon Posted February 3, 2003 Posted February 3, 2003 Hey Frank, whenever someone posts large pictures, I get them obscuring the texts of their (and subsequent) posts. Is anyone else experienceing this problem? BTW, Kevin the Vac looks really good, I got one side on my PC this weekend. I'm wandering if I should do some interior finishing now before I put the other side on. Its hard to hold back now though since this project has appeared stationary for months now (to the untrained observer that is ) . Quote

You just dont get the same reaction when you take someone out to the garage and say "look how smooth it is since the last time you saw it. " and they just look at you like they can't tell what your saying. :? I resized my pics so they shouldn't take up more than the whole screen now. Sometimes I forget people don't have high speed internet or set there resolution as high as mine. Quote

[/quote'] I don't know ... there is an issue with the horizontal scrolling if a picture is larger than the screen resolution, but it sounds like you are getting the pictures actually obscuring the text. I'll ask at the support forum for the software ... what browser are you using, and what operating system (Windows, Mac, *nix?) Quote
Simon Posted February 3, 2003 Posted February 3, 2003 I'm using linux with Netscape 6. The pictures don't just obscure the text, they actually obscure each other - so when Kevin posts a string of pictures I get the first one and then the bottom of a few others - its really wierd. The same thread on byyb works fine so I'm not sure what's going on there. :? Everything else is working great though. Quote

When I was building my CS17 I would sit, about where the seat would be, and hold my hand about where the tiller would be, and stare off into the rear of the house. ....when no one was watching.
