Kidd Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 We did it. I did some work on the rigging and she worked fine. I launched her this morning in a bigger lake (Lanier) and at a better ramp. We left the dock under paddle power about 11:00 with the sails rolled up. by 11:15 we were moving in light airs under sail power. Winds were very light at around 0-2 miles an hour but picked up in spots to around 6. She pointed well and was very fast on a broad reach. I still need to tweek the rig. Both snotters were too high. I intend to find the best place for the snotters and fix them simipermanantly. Here is a picture for you: An end to a perfect day! Quote

I hope I launch mine in sedate conditions too - I'd rather row than bail on my first time out All of these CS launchings lately have me chomping at the bit.
