I weigh all of my hulls at the concrete plant for free. They have scales for loading dump trucks with sand and gravel.

Are those certified and will the state accept that for getting the trailer tags?

All scales are certified scales for trade. Whether it qualifies for tags, I have no idea. But our state regulates the scales for trading. I also weighed my rv at truck stops on the highway. I would think that a state stamp would qualify for DMV tags, though.

There ought to be an approximate finished weight/displacement in the plans somewhere but I can't find it. Never saw anything like these plans before.

There should be a sheet listing information such as approximate weight/displacement and other info for title acquisition and registering.
