JeffM Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 Took my two younger boys, Trevor (eight) and Stephen (5) for a two-day circumnavigation of Prudence Island in upper Narragansett Bay over Labor Day weekend. We launched Saturday from Oakland Beach public boat ramp in Warwick, RI early in the afternoon and made a comfortable two-hour passage to Potter Cove (popular anchorage) on Prudence Is. Got a nice long reach to try out the new mizzen staysail. It handled nicely in the 5kt wind, behaving well enough so that I had no fear leaving the tiller in Trevor Quote
