My Belhaven update

I got quite a bit done the last three days, but at the same time it doesn't seem like much.

The cockpit is mostly glassed in. About one more day in the cockpit area and it will be ready to prime. The seats tops are installed. In between waiting on epoxy to do its thing I got the hull sides sanded. The deck mostly sanded and faired, it's ready for glassing. I got some more painting done in the cabin, so it stands at about 2/3's painted.

It seems every time I get on a roll I have to go back to work.

I know what your going through Scott. I've been telling my friends I'm 75% done with 75% to go. There's a lot of details that take time when your approaching the finish line.

I caught a cold from my son and stayed home from work yesterday and today. I was feeling a little bit better this AM so I decided to tackle the cockpit coaming. After about an hour in my shop I decided I'm not yet heathy enough :cry: . It will have to wait until this weekend.

My friend lent me a setup for steam bending. I'm planning to steam the coaming sections (white oak @ ~ 0.300" thick) up near the forward bulkhead that have to do significant bending (~15" radius). I'll post some pictures of the process.

Please continue to post pictures of your Belheaven. I've learned a lot from what others are doing.
