The Weekender is no slouch, the three I have sailed with, have each given me a run for my ego.

John, It's good to hear from you again. I thought we'd lost track of you.

Your little (actually big) adventure was great to read about. This minimalist thing really has some advantages (read that challenges). This next weekend I had invited my granddaughter to go to a local lake and live (eat sleep etc.) on the boat. When word got around the family and others wanted to join us we decided to go to a closer lake and have everyone join us. Now, we will be camping and pulling the boat out every night, but a couple of the grandkids still want to sleep on the boat overnight. I guess we will be sleeping on the trailer in the parking lot. OH, well ... it still should be a bit of an adventure. I'm excited.

Frank- he MORE than held his own. He was always right there in the middle of the pack arriving at any destination. I was more than happy to have him rafted alongside Necessity for those two nights- one of which was a TAD hairy
