capt jake Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 I have been to this place many times before and never noticed it. I was told it has been leaning against the cabin for nearly 15 years and just recently got moved (so that I would spot it). This was up at Newman Lake; T. Nelsons old sailing grounds. Can you name the design? ;) [attachment over 4 years old deleted by admin] Quote
capt jake Posted August 23, 2004 Author Posted August 23, 2004 Alexander, you may be right, but I think it is bigger than that. It is about 12' long. Quote

capt jake Posted August 23, 2004 Author Posted August 23, 2004 Three good answers now! I personally was thinking about the Skipjack, but now I am incertain. Maybe Mike can help us out here?? I also had a plywood keel and NO cloth over anything. Beyond repair, but I tried to talk the wife into letting me bring it home for 'yard art', but she stearnly disaggreed. It is definitely a Stevenson's design, no doubt about that! Next to my family's house for all of these year, and I never knew it! Wow! Quote
Greg Luckett Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 Capt. Jake, That is somewhat amazing that it was next to your family's house all this time. Funny how some things work out. My wife's idea of appropriate yard art is similar to your's, at least in not using boats. Quote
