capt jake Posted June 7, 2004 Posted June 7, 2004 OK, I got voluteered to help out in a charity situation. Long story short, this gal has to have a bedroom completed in a few weeks for her 3 year old son, or she will loose him (rules and regs, stuff....). I went and wired the addition all up for her today. Heck, I even threw in all of the materails. Helped out her 'contractor' (at least I thinks that's what he was), removing a window and re-framing the door... Sure makes a body feel good! :) Quote
Jan Williamson Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 Jake, What a great cause. Kids need their moms/dads pretty bad at that age. It is amazing how much a persons life changes when they are taken away from a parent at a young age. I know lots of adults who still suffer from "abandonment" issues because they lost a parent, and of course some difficulties are passed on. You really made a difference. Quote
