Soft eyes on shrouds. Stacked over mast in the following order: jib halyard block, forestay, forward port side, forward stbd side, aft port side.

Our 85 lb Newfie/border collie cross managed to crawl into the forepeak from the cabin through one of the holes in the bulkhead.

Starboard side. Throat halyard cleated on cabin roof.

Port side. Peak halyard nearest hatch. Topping lift cleats into the other one.

Floorboards after the second coat of varnish.

First mate hard at work.

Wow! You're really moving right along, Dave. Nice work! She's looking mighty shipshape.

Lookin' right smart there Dave! Even got the boss to pitch in, now there's an accomplishment (wish I could get mine to help out). First class rigging work there too. One minor point if I may though, I wouldn't fly the jib quite that high. In fact I fly mine as close to the deck as I can get it. It helps to keep the wind forces down low.

Russ, I will actually fly it a bit lower than that when sailing. I was using it for some shade while working on the boat yesterday and needed it up out of the way. I don't expect I'll have it right down on the deck, though. I don't know if you can tell it in the pictures but I raised the boom enough so I don't have to worry about getting smacked in the brain-bucket by it during tacking. I figure since part of the job of the jib is to control flow over the main it needs to be a bit higher, too.
