Kudzu Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 Just received a roll of a new 9 oz polyester fabric. This is tight weave fabric with a fairly smooth finish. The weave it fairly smooth and nice and tight. Sewing this fabric should be easy to without the pull holes you would get with the original 8 oz we sold for so many years. I applied some paint and it soaked in rather than just sitting on the surface. $5 a foot but I have it on sale for a few days at $4.50 a foot. Quote

Rick Jacques Posted October 9, 2025 Posted October 9, 2025 I'm trying to communicate with Jeff Horton of KudzuCraft but unfortunately the business is closed. Sadly, It seems that the entire industry is changing. Maybe fewer people are building boats today. I would like to build the Oxford type rowing shell (about 18ft) that Jeff created, but I have only seen photos of the frame. Like Dave Gentry's "Ruth" available at Duckworks.com, it would be great to see other designers post plans for sale. I'm hoping that someone can point me to plans for the shell. Thanks Rick Quote
