Hello Mitchell. There is link where are intructions to wooden blocks. I made them to my weekender and they worked well. I used oak and sinked them to thinned tar. Hmm I notised some small black spots inside varnish. Maby in fife places - where I have install some fittigs. I have to store the boat outside all sommer, but in winter time I have good, but not warmed shelter. With wooden boat there are some maintenance?, but shoud I sand these kind of spots with bare wood and let it (dry) in winter and varnish them in next spring or just let it be and put some ny varnish to seal these areas?

Hello Old topic, but I test the new mast angle and rudder. Have to say that now the boat works really good. Just little pressure in tiller. I dont want to reduce it no more. Even I hade no battery in front. I was yesterday sailing on really good wind - or quite big to my skills. Normally I would take on reef down, but there were 2 more light sailing boat in same lake so that was no guestion - it was race! And I was funn! the best sailing I ever hade made! Thanks. I just think ( maby stubid idea ? ) that with thin plywood could use thin fishermans nylon line and leave it inside epoksy. Just sand outside knots and lines away after epoksy hade cured?

I have never done any joints with stitch and glue system. I have made some joints with glastape and epoksy, but without stichs - just hold the peaces with skrews and scrabs of wood or some another way. I wonder - how take of the stitches after the epoksy had cured?

Hello I made couple boom tens. The first is used when the boat is stored in beachtrailer and the other when sleeping or keepin rain or so. The sticks are made from elekctirck pipe and joiners. Works good. There is allso my new rudder ( the same as my pdracer

That modification really was woth of time and effort. Works lots better. How about my new war paintings? Gets some attention when transporting it in top of my car!

Well Goes nicely in downstrem. Easy to handle and quite stable. But in lake and upstrem the tramsom slows the speed and makes draft. But it that river it works quite good. Have to make better and bigger in next winter. The river was guite beautiful so it was good reason to make kayak

There is long and narrow river or ditch nere where I live. So I need a short kayak to go paddle. The river goes left and right alltime so the kayak hade to be short. The goal was make it easy and under 100 euros. Well It took two weeks nights + one week painting. And money 134 euros. It isent sea kayak but have to test it in the river!
