Definitely makes good sense on high exposure areas like exposed outside corners, cockpit coaming edges, console edges. I did some of that on my sailboat like the corners of the seat tops.1 point

Another chance at exposing someone else to sailing. A young man from Germany is staying with us, and got to experience sailing for the first time! It was also fun to have a kite surf/wing foil zipping by us for a while.
