hi.woodwork is now finished:(i ran out of sinew the last day,ordered another roll,it was home just a week after:thanks at kudzu for being so react if).i really like the look of this boat as it is,but i think it may not float:i ve got to get myself together to start the skinning.i have inserted two pictures:hope it works.see you next time,after the skinning.

i ve been really lucky to find very good red cedar in a small wood store just near Marseille.the wood was free of knots and just the right length.i ve bought more than i need in case though it is much much more expensive than pine.
