Bracket Question

My VARDO brackets have a small circle with vertical and horizontal lines thru them, below the keel slots.  Could someone please let me know what these are used for?

Ignore them. they are just a reference point. If you wanted to you could drill them out and pull a string through them or shoot a laser level. But I have never done that. I really should just delete them.

As Jeff suggested, I drilled them out and ran a string to set up my brackets------worked nicely.
