Stonefly Bow & Stern Location

I have all the frames cut out and I'm ready to start assembly. I'm not sure if I'm missing something, but I can't find anything that states the proper location of the bow and stern pieces. Is there a specific distance the stern should from frame 2' 0" and the bow from frame 12' 3"? Thanks

I am not at my desk but I think that the parts you are talking about are supposed to fit together. Tab on the bow/stern into the appropriate frame. If I am misunderstanding what you are asking reply back. I will be at my desk latter.

 

Your building Stonefly, not a Flyfisher! There is no dimension given but just do some subtraction. The stern will be at 0 inches or 24 inches at the farthest point back from the center of 2' frame.  I don't remember the dimension but it is the same on the front. I take a couple of clamps, hold the pieces in place and measure, then cut the keel strip to length slight long. Put it in place and remeasure and trim it again.  Better to sneak up on it than cut it to short.
