What to do with all those shorts

I have a hard time using all those accumulated shorts of various hardwoods for kindling.  But they were taking up too much space so I bit the bullet and here are the results.

Good Ideas.  Best I came up with was to laminate some sliders for the deck lines.  To use all the left overs i need to build about 20 more boats.  But that won't work as there'll be more leftovers.  Oh well.
