Stonefly breasthook, thwarts, rub rails

So far I used cypress for all stringers and baltic birch for frames, what are your guys thoughts for the breasthooks, thwarts and rub rails. Should I keep it uniform or maybe use another wood type for accents?

I'd go with something light weight...mine ended up over 40lbs....

Hard to answer since it is personal preference. In my house my wife likes consistency would tell you to stick with the cypress and it would look good. Me, I like contrast and if I could find something I was happy with I would go that way. But either one will work and should look good. So it boils down to what you like.
