just got my prints in the mail and looks like this is going to be fun.dont know why but after staring at print i decided to work from the stern end.thanksjeff for the sale im exited to get started

got her all planned out tonight im going to ty mdo for frames. i have a sighn made from it 13 years old like new and we get harsh weaher here in the snow belt.so jeff is my mind right are the frames numbered to work from stern?

well i just went to lmberyard and there was a sighn maker buying duraplex its the new version of mdo plywood. 54 buck a sheet but i got it and will post some pics when i cut out the frames.

jeff i got all the parts cut out.i just got red cedar boards16 ft long no knots!. the boardsare 1x6x16 by 3/4 thick. can i leave them 3/4 with planing them down.if so is 3/4 x5/8 ok jay.

The slots in the frames are laid out at 5/8" thick so they will not fit if they are 3/4" wide so you going to have to have to plane those down.

got em planed down.thanks.found a supplier of all the cedar you can dream of its west penn hardwoods .com i went to visit and its like a walmart for woodworkers huge!

well here are the frames and extra pieces. i made from duraplex or some call mdo .sands nice and cuts real easy with a metal cutting blade.after cutting out evry piece i can say my jigsaw got a workout along with my wrist! these fire fly print are awsome!
