mosquito net

I want to make a boat tent for my BRS 17.  I want to have a layer of mosquito netting under the water proof barrier.  Anyone have a source for this?

If you Google "mosquito netting," it will probably turn up some sources. One tip: There is white mosquito netting and there is black (or charcoal gray) mosquito netting. The white stuff is usually cheaper, but you definitely want to use black. It is easier to see through and doesn't feel like it is blocking your vision. That's why higher-quality tents use black netting (not white) for the windows, and sometimes even market them as "see-thru" netting or "high-visibility" tent windows. The mesh may be the same size, but the white netting is so much more reflective/eye-catching that it feels harder to see through.

By the way, "no-see-um" netting is usually the best bet. Stuff marketed simply as "mosquito netting" often has a larger mesh pattern, which can let in very tiny biting insects that are hard to see (generically called "no-see-ums", hence the name of the netting that blocks them out). No-see-um netting will have a tighter weave or an extra layer of smaller threads running through the centers of the normal mesh pattern, effectively making it much harder, if not impossible for tiny insects to come through. Again, this is what the higher-quality tent manufacturers use, but for that reason, it is also probably more costly than regular mosquito netting.

Yeah, I found that one too.  Looks pretty good and can be bought in long lengths.
