Marissa pre launch

I couldn't resist launching Marissa early. Tom and I had a slight lack of communication, I assumed that his 25 Evenrude was long shaft and he assumed that my transom was for a short shaft. After debating whether we should splash the boat or not we decided that we were here anyway.

She floated nice and light and should be right on her lines when the rub rails, hardware, fuel and crew is added. She wanted to jump up on plane but each time

That's the answer I hoped for. Bought my ticket online. Mapquest says it's two hours and nineteen minutes away. I'll bring my camera.

Neat, so its okay to launch without having the glits and gingerbread on the boat? I am relieved to learn this today.  I just may do that this week with a long shaft and a long shaft transom, if thats okay. :silly: Tom, does the doctor know where you are and what you are doing? More to point, does Liz know?

Looking good!  I'm anxiously awaiting performance reports.  I saw the boat at Beaufort, and I'm very impressed!
