Help needed with CS17 facelift

Gday All - have nearly got CS17#35 back on the water after a major refit (new interior seating, centreboard case, centreboard, rudder, hull paint job, etc, etc, etc) - has taken me over two years! (probably could have built a new boat in that time!) Will post some photos later - Anyway need some help with a few measurements please.

1. What thickeness for the leading edge of the rudder blade?

2. What's the optimum travel for the centreboard - ie. how far aft should the centreboard handle travel from "full up" position to reach "full down" position.

Hi David

On my plans the leading edge diameter of the rudder is 3/8 inch ie half the rudder width and then faired in.

The centreboard trunk cap slot aft from forward is noted as 19 5/8 inches- ie 19 3/4 inch forward from the thwart. The plans say adjust to the boat.

I'm in Brisbane- where is Cobargo?

Thanks for the help Peter - Cobargo is way down south on the coast - near Bega (where the cheese comes from!) and not too far from the Vic border.
