An acquaintance of mine in Japan ordered some boat plans from Stevenson Projects over a month ago.

He ordered from here:

After he placed the order the website looks like it was closed. They state that they are moving their site, but in the mean time I was was wondering if anybody here had contact information? Both the email address and phone indicated on the website are non-functional.

In any case, I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

This has been a recurring issue over the past year or so.  If your friend used PayPal he stands a better chance of seenig the plans sooner from what we have heard onthe other board.  Wish I could give you better news.

I guess I'm going to advise him to try to get his money back from Paypal.

I don't suppose anybody has either of the following plans/DVD sets they would like to sell?

You know, the Weekender and Vacationer are kinda neat boats, I've built a Weekender ( won a best in show award with it in Sturgeon Bay) and it was a neat looking thing-

BUT-

You are posting on the B and B forum- have you taken a look at some of the B and B designs? They are fairly simple builds and you'll wind up with a helluva lot better boat at the end.  Faster and more seaworthy. The Sprit rigs are really a great sail plan. Last week during the Texas 200 I watched a Core Sound 17 blast past me while I was beached having lunch, sailing with full sail in a measured 28 knots ( flat water), doing about 8 or 9 knots or more, in total control.

Just something to think about.

I guess I should have posted this in the general forum. I'm not actually the person who wants to build the boats. I'm just helping out the acquaintance of mine in Japan because of language issues. I'm not sure if he has looked at other options or not. I just know he's already spent money on the Stevenson's plans.
