Help identfy

This boat is in need of rescuing and it is just down the road from me. So far I think it might be a Balboa 20. Photos of a Balboa 20 to follow in next post.

I think you're right from looking at the interior shots. I think you're a glutton for punishment Chad. But it might just be your next cool boat.

Yeah the exterior looks right, but the interior is what keyed it off for me. It would make and interesting project and yes I'm a glutton for punishement. :wink:

You would be surprised what a pressure washer and a fire hose can do CS. I must look worse in person then in the photos.

Craig from what I can tell she is solid with no soft spots. Getting her out of the woods and cleaned up will tell a lot. Now I just need to wait to hear back.

Can you get the HIN from the transom? I am thinking she might be a Laguna Balboa, rather than a Balboa.

Greg I'm almost convinced that she is the Balboa 20. I've had others at other sites concur with me. The inside shots of the cabin key it off for me. If I get this out of the woods and back to my house where I can clean it up I will look for the manufactur's data plate.

If it is the Balboa 20 and is in as good of shape as I believe, than it is a find. The Balboa 20 is supposadly a sweet boat.

The HIN should be engraved on the starboard side of the transom just below the gunwhale. You have a pic of that area, so probably you can get the HIN without too much effort, and then the identification should be accurate. Just my thinking.
