Be honest how many of you have a Weekender partially built in their garage just screaming to be worked on???? :oops:

I am just itching to get going on the My Weekender again, but it wont be for a while I am just about to move to a new house so once again the boat is on the back burner untill I am moved to the new house...On the plus side my new garage" or shipyard " Is in much better shape then the garage I have now.

I figure I just drop a line since I have not visited the forum for quite some time.

Man, If I'm going to keep lurking here, and even posting once in a while, I can't hid from this one. :oops:

I sold my Weekender at the stage where it was ready to be glassed, and the buyer finished, and sailed her. :oops:

I still think about building boats every day. :roll:

And I keep an eye on things here, because this is a good group of people. 8)

There isn't a day that I don't wish I were in the boat shed finishing up mine. It is at the glass stage with virtually everything else finished and ready to install. Been working on rope stropped blocks for several weeks now off and on. They are working out great, but I won't be able to do the glass work for awhile yet. Just have to get that OK from the Dr. to let me go at it. I'm just stuborn enough to want to finish it up myself. Even if it continues to take awhile. Still lots of incentive to work on it, and the desire to get it done. Unfortunately, I would rather not take the risk of further damage to my health, so I will listen to them and continue with the patience game.

I could just paint it I suppose and get it in the water and use it, but I've had to wait this long to get it done, I might as well just wait a bit longer and do it right.
