Could someone send me the plans or any other useful information so to realize and properly install it ? Quote

His response: Sorry, I don't remember seeing a note about the centerboard. At any rate, it was a swing-down one in the center of the keel (jacknife centerboard), with no trunk in the cabin. It had a rope to pull it down and it would just float up or be banged back up when beaching or trailering. Since I'm laying my keel right now, I'm contemplating how easy it would be to incorporate a fin keel at this stage, and to extend the stern block down for a permanently-mounted electric auxiliary (cannibalized from a 74-pound trolling electric). Tim Diebert Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 If you do end up doing a centerboard or dagger board or whatever you do in the way of an actual keel, let me know and I will tell you exactly where to locate it. Location of my dagger board was based on rough calculations I did. In the end, I now know exactly where it should be...in relation to whatever sailplan you are going to use. I highly recomend the extra work. rdbass....your difficulties 'turning up wind' (I assume tacking) is common for these boats. I eliminated the problem on my boat by cutting off the deep 'forefoot' area of the keel. It made a vast difference.
