Pictures in the text????????

How do you do it (in detail please, and NOT a picture attachment, since that is working fine)?? :?:

OK...I will try and help you.

First of all, the image HAS to exist on the internet already...or be put there.

Find the image, right click, 'properties', hilite the url of the image (that is specifically it's web address), copy it (control C).

Now go to the reply to box where you want your text an image.

to put the image where you want......put your cursor at the place you want the image. Then click on "IMG" above the box then go 'control V' (paste) that puts the url you copied in to the iamge area. Then click on "IMG"again.

Viola you are done. Check it with the 'preview' button below to be sure it works....you should be OK. Try it.

Essentially, what you are doing is pointing the window to the web address of the image.

thanks a lot. I was on to it, but found that it did not work if the picture reference was to my own harddisk! So, find a website where the picture can be deposited and then it should work

You can also upload a picture to my server here ... below the editing box where you enter your message is a section "Add an Attachment" that lets you browse your hard drive for the picture and then upload it.

Its a little strange the way it works ... you click the "Browse..." button to search your harddrive for the pic, then select it. There's a spot to add a "File Comment". Then you click the "Add Attachment" button and it looks like nothing is happening ... its uploading the picture in the background. The screen may go blank for a moment if you are on a dial up connection. Then when the screen comes back, you can see the image is posted as shown below.

You might think there's nothing there, but if you look closely, you'll see your attachment listed

Pictures have to be in either bmp, gif, jpeg, jpg or png format, and less than 300kb in size to be accepted.
