messingdd97 Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 I got the boat in the spring as a refurbishment project, and I now have too many projects. The seat tops need to be replaced, and the entire boat needs to be painted. It's on a good trailer, the sails are sleeve luff in very good condition, and comes with new 7' oars. In my opinion, the work required is less than 25% of the work required to build and finish an entire boat. This would be ideal for someone who may lack sufficient time for a bigger project. Asking $2,000. Two brand new sheets of 6mm okoume included with full price offer. Quote
messingdd97 Posted October 10, 2020 Author Posted October 10, 2020 Bringing this to the Messabout. I'm not intending to bring it home. I may separate the boat, sails, trailer, etc, if there is interest. In any event, price is very negotiable. Quote
messingdd97 Posted December 16, 2020 Author Posted December 16, 2020 I've been working on this between other projects as time permits. Boat will be ready to sail by spring. The price will go up, but will still be less than a complete kit. Quote
messingdd97 Posted January 7, 2021 Author Posted January 7, 2021 I have to move on to other projects. Price is no reduced to $600 without new plywood or new oars. All bad wood has been removed, waiting for new. Also open to selling sails, trailer, boards. Quote
messingdd97 Posted January 7, 2021 Author Posted January 7, 2021 I am located near Warrenton, Virginia. The boat is currently at a remote location, but I can bring it here with a day or two notice. Quote
Chick Ludwig Posted January 10, 2021 Posted January 10, 2021 Tempted, but mainly just curious. I'm in the Carolina mountains bout 7 hours away. Quote
Chick Ludwig Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 Can you past pictures? Lowest price for complete boat, sails, trailer? Where is the rotten area? Other details? Quote
