Seat position for Castaway/Messabout

Measured from the back wall of the cockpit, how far forward should the seat/back band be placed?

The designs calls for  4" forward. But a less is OK. Just going to far forward could cause tracking issues. It I have found that it is not really critical

I'm getting everything done that is easiest BEFORE I put the skin on. I'll shoot for about 4".
