Do you have any pictures of someone using the bungee retainer hoop since my points are not that long. I would have to drill a small hole on each sprit end with point.

I found a tarp on amazon that has a draw string with a ratchet on the stern and hope to pull it under the lip of boat that runs all the way around it except the stern. I can figure something out for that I think. Its coming tomorrow and will see how it works out. Its a stretchable material too

Looks like this extra hole on the sprit pole end could be another position for the block and tackle to tie off at?

I have a 4" lip all the way around the boat but the stern. Im thing maybe a draw string type cover and have to maybe have turn clip in the bow where it will drape down over the mast sticking past the bow.

Is this line going through this pulley correctly so it can go down the mast to the cleat or the jam cleat.

I just wonder if this line is running through the pulley correct so it can go down the mast to the cleat and there are jam cleats aswell. Main mast is on the right in the pictures Mizzen on the left in both pictures.

Sprit poles with pulley on the end with hook that hooks to the mast and then I guess goes down the mast to a cleat. No cleat on these sprit poles.

Are there any drawings of the layout of the ropes going to the poles and hooks on the masts. Would be nice to see a basic drawing of how the ropes are run up and out to the poles from the mast and pulley on the poles. These are the ropes I have that came with the boat

Im looking for some clamps that I could clamp the ripstop or light canvas to the cowling along the edge which mine has about a 4" lip running all around the boat which is nice. Looks like I found tent tarps that will work and heavier then ripstock but not to heavy.

This must be a weight centerboard lifting keel. I have only one rope going to it from a jam cleat. I haven't had it off the trailer yet so I haven't lowered the centerboard till I launch it so I can place it on my lift that I'm rebuilding the bunks and install two new motors on the lift. I will be launching it soon. I'm also trying to figure out how the ropes run up and out the poles. Myself and a friend might put it out to the driveway and see if we can figure out the layout of the ropes. He is not a sailor and I haven't sail this type of boat. We will lift the sails etc on a day will no wind. I have on video I found on the Core Sound 20 that shows some of the rope layout.

The rope to the ceterboard I guess is to lift it and and guess its weighted for when you let it down.

My setup is basic with no lines running to the aft of the cockpit. I wish I had someone in the area Pine Island Saint james city Florida to step me thru the lines and how they need to be run. Maybe someone will be in the area soon. Im working right now replacing my bunk boards and carpet on them on my lift along with new Cradle brackets. Paint new cold galvanized on the I beams and replaced the motors with new ones. It will be ready for the boat soon. I know there are different ways to rig them and this one seems to be real basic so should not be to hard for someone to show me. The man I bought it from here on Pine Island moved to state of Washington had to move fast and never took the time to show me.

I would like to have mast up sometimes while out on a beach and maybe on the boat lift too. I might lay them down while on the lift for a longer period of time if not using it. Would be nice to be able to do it both ways. Sometimes I will have tent in front deck while camping on beach if not on land with tent. If I was on land camping I could lay the mast down and cover whole boat in rain storms.

I need to think of a way to go around the mast maybe bungee cord it to the masts. I can clip it to the gunnel around the edge of the boat. Ripstop material doesn't take up much room when I store it too.

Looking some ideas to use ripstop material for a cover for my Core Sound 17 in these pictures. It won't take much room when folded up and its light weight. Some how ro around the two mast and use bungee cord to seal it around the mast and then some large plastic clamps to clip it around the gunnel edge where I have a nice lip. Going around each mast Im thinking how that can be done. If I use two pieces it would be easier to go around the mast and then maybe clip the two edges together. Any Ideas out there???????

My boat has a simple pulley system and should not be hard to figure out but I have never owned a bout of this type. All my other boats were standard boom type. I wish I had a mentor close by that could show me real quick. Im in Saint James City, Florida 33956
