  1. Thank you both for your comments. Yes it is a fairly large top, we get a lot of sun in Vanuatu, however we think it is still in proportion to the overall boat (a lot of thought went into getting the dimensions right). It was built using Divinycell and only weights about 15 kg. We modified the stern jig to get a curved shape. Tim
  2. Some photos of launch day.
  3. Will post more detailed photo's over the next few days. Only just got our new mooring in. Running 115 Command Thrusts with 17P Enertias S/S props. Have been sorting out engine height but think we have it right now. Will update the spreadsheet once we have everything sorted out. Tim
  4. It's been a while since my last post, been busy building. Anyway "Lulu" is finished and splashed. Tim
  5. Ok thanks - helps me with my dimensions. Tim
  6. Hi gbt, Changing the subject slightly are you able to give me the dimensions of your hard top? Thanks Tim
  7. Hi gbt, Very helpful - thanks. Tim
  8. Hi gbt, Can you please post photo's of how you have setup the steering on the engine bracket. In particular how you have installed the hydraulic steering cables as I am trying to work out the best option for this part of the build. Thanks Tim
  9. That is a really brilliant idea - having build them from timber!
  10. Can you please post some photos of the setup of the hidden hinges that you have used for the deck hatches. Thanks Tim
  11. Hi Chris, I am working on the console at the moment. How wide did you make the console? Thanks Tim
  12. Hi Chris, Yes it is a nice space. Back at it in a couple of days. Tim
  13. Some build photo's of #5.
  14. Loading the 256 kits at B&B (early April 2016). 256 kits on the way to Sydney Australia. Everything we need to build the 256's (including disassembled trailers) loaded in Sydney on the way to Vanuatu. Everything unloaded and we are ready to start the build's (this is early October 2016).
