I absolutely love working with poplar, but would never consider using it on a boat. Of all the readily available woods in this country, poplar is the worst when exposed to water (IMHO). Cheers

Greetings, Which model of Core Sound is that in the photos? I'm trying to narrow my choice of CS and plan to modify mine, somewhat like Gordy Hill did, for fishing. So I scour the available photos on this forum. I was out on one of those new power cats on Sunday and agree that any day on someone else's boat is great indeed. He's got more tied up in that thing than I do in my house. Cheers, Greg
