I am selling my weekender It is about 85-90% done. My free time has shrunk to nothing and other obligations is forcing me to temporarily abandon this endeavor. See the pictures, below. The hull is complete and some of the deck has been glassed. The cockpit needs to be completed and top deck painted. I have all the parts cut out and many other parts completed (sprit, mast, rudder, etc.). I have all of the running gear and sails to include an oversized jib. From boats to CAT5, is your weekender also going to have network connections?? Jake, it sounds like things are working well for you. The only thing I would mention is running CAT5 with the electrical. The standards indicate that it needs to be ran perpendicular to each other, but in a home with over-all distance of less than 150', there should be no problems. But if you have any, I would check were the CAT5 runs close to the electrical. Have fun, I am glad someone else gets to experience being a cable jockey.

Hay Rick, So is this is an upgrade from model sailplanes you built in the backyard......I hear you are very well at playing "Empire Builder" :shock: Did the boys help out at all. I know this is killing you trying to figure out who this is. Well the Washington weather has been really great to us. Our weekender, Jumbilani, is still in the garage being worked on. I was hoping to get it done for this season, but one of the family is graduating from HS this next year, so we went to Europe for a 3 week vacation. Boy old pall, there is a lot of katccatchingto do. I don't believe, I just received this month copy of "Wooden Boat" and low and behold, shiver my timbers, but there was a Weekender in the Launchings section. It has to be a first. congratulations to Lonnie Fox for making it in the May/June issue. It looks like a beautiful boat as well. I hope to see him on the water. Bryan

Outstanding work, I am really envious!!! We really need to get all of the Puget Sound boats together this summer for a sail.

I am really not looking forward to registering my little boat. I think I have even slowed down on finishing it up, because of it. Jake, someone did tell one time to just take in all of the receipts for construction and it is painless. :wink: I really don't know about that. Bryan
