  1. I have a question about Redfish Kayak’s seats? I have a Ravenswood and would like to order one of his seats. The description and picture on the website shows integral hip and back rests but all the pictures on your site show the seat without the extra supports. When you order your seats do you request without supports or do you remove them yourself or would I be better off with them? Does Redfish have the size information for a Ravenswood? A question not totally related to the seat. I couldn’t find a way to search past post on the forum so any help with searching would be appreciated.
  2. May I ask how much bow was in the keel. Also how old is the Curlew and did you find any other surprises when you un-skinned the boat?
  3. Thanks for the link to the photo editing program. It was quick and easy to use. I took the shock cord off the back band to slip in the float bag and was to lazy to put it back on. I have a quick question. What is the best way to do a wet re-entry on your kayaks? Not planning on doing to many but if do I don't want to break any frames or stringers.
  4. Here are some pictures of my girl friend's kayak we built. Still needs the deck rigging installed. Now it’s time to work on my kayak.
  5. On the Ravenswood I have two small frames numbered 7’5” and one larger 7’5” frame are the smaller ones lashed to the big 7’5” frame or are they lashed separate? The drawing notes call out to fit the small 7’5” frame to the coaming. Does that apply the laminated coaming as well?
  6. Hi Ben, I am building a Ravenswood also and on my print I don’t have a 7’3” frame. I have a 7’5” frame and an 8’3” frame. Keith
  7. I’m looking to build my first kayak(s) and I was wondering your opinion on which one to build. This by will be used by myself and my girlfriend, she 5’2” and I’m 5’9”. We plan to use it for mostly on lakes and a river now and then. I would also like to be able to carry a dry bag. The kayak that I was looking at was the Ravenswood would this be a good choice for a first kayak?
