John, try Skycraft surplus on Edgewater in O-do. Last time I was there I saw various size tubes of what appeared to be teflon or fiberglass. If you can find the right diameter you could probably slip the mast butt into one of the tubes and it would act as your bearing. Another flat piece could be cut for the bearing on the step. Yes John, I got the plans for the CK-17 in the mail Monday. Have spent hours looking at them and deciding what to start on first. I really don't have the funds to start the hull right now so I think I will start with the daggerboard and rudder to get them out of the way. If you are coming to the CFYC meeting next week I am bringing the plans with me. Bruce
