Derek Posted April 30, 2003 Author Posted April 30, 2003 I have a strongback for a kayak that will fit that like a glove!!! I will bring it right over! Hey, there's an idea, and Barry's comment of lawn art gave me the idea of a pink flamingo for a figurehead! That'll turn some heads! Quote
Barry Pyeatt Posted April 30, 2003 Posted April 30, 2003 Hey Derek, I have a chunk of glue lam here left in a scrap pile that I was convinced that I needed. It is by actual measurment 2 1/2 X 7 X 87. You could use it and not need to worry about keeping the bow down. With a little effort it could be stained to match the hatch cover. If you decided that you really needed a figurehead it would certainly support it. Shucks, I was going to use a lawn flamingo (slightly modified) to be a Thunderbird of sorts for my mast head wind direction guage. But as a figure head might be more interesting. Quote
