Interesting how many of these older boats show up for sale and people pass them by, yet if you have the time and energy, you end up with a true classic! i've often thought when I get a "real" workspace I might want to try one out and re-do it for a year or two. An elderly man he knew from his outboard get-togethers gave him a pallet of mahogany, etc. stating 'on the basis he build the boat' and do nothing else with it. He was just too old to do it himself.
