Here are some pictures of my girl friend's kayak we built. Still needs the deck rigging installed.

Your photos are still really large but the boat looks great. I would like to see more photos.

Here is simple little program that will resize a whole folder of photos. It's free and very handy.

I will make one suggestion. If you will tighten up the bungee behind the backband it will make getting in the boat easier. You won't get in find the back band underneath you. I keep mind fairly tight and then if it does get pulled down all I have to do is lean forward and it snaps back in place.

Thanks for the link to the photo editing program. It was quick and easy to use.

I took the shock cord off the back band to slip in the float bag and was to lazy to put it back on.

I have a quick question. What is the best way to do a wet re-entry on your kayaks? Not planning on doing to many but if do I don't want to break any frames or stringers.

Good looking boat. I think you did a good job on it. What did you finish it with?

Your boat is tougher than it looks! If you break a frame your going to have to do something really bad or you have some bad plywood. Wet entries should not hurt anything. If it does something was wrong.

As for what method the answer is what ever works for you. Everyone is different so it's just what ever you can do. One thing we don't stress enough is safety. I dare say most people that build my boats don't know basic skills. I will admit I am not as good as I should be and I don't practice like I should either.

So I will encourage you to practice wet entries. BE SURE and practice exits too! Anyone paddling needs to know they can get out of the boat so they don't panic if the boats flips. And sooner or latter it will and it will be when you least expect it.
