CS 17 #284 update

I had a chance to prime and get 1 coat of paint on the boat the last couple of days. I used Interlux Epoxy Primekote for the primer and Brightsides for the top coat. I glued up the tiller stock this morning.

A reminder about buying from West Marine...do your home work on line, print a copy of your best price from a major supplier and take it with you so that they can price match. I saved $10 a qt on primer, several $ per qt on solvent and a bundle on a gal of Brightsides. They know they are ripping you off and are more than willing to give you a competitive price if you do your home work.

Foils coated

A little spot putty to clean up a last couple of blemishes

A new tiller handle

Trans epoxy coated and ready for masking and a clean paint line and varnish
