Guest Majuro Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Greetings, I am writing from Majuro, in the Marshall Islands. My current nesting dinghy is a Danny Greene, Cameleon, at 10' 4". I have used the Cameleon for eight years full time while cruising. She was built of marine plywood, and glassed inside and out. She now weighs considerably more than when first launched due to water absorption. Worms have eaten off three keels and the hull is wormy. I would like to build an S10 using a hull material different than plywood. So I am asking if anyone has built an S10 or similar stitch and glue type dinghy out of rigid closed cell foam sheets?
