Guest Dennis M Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 On my Core Sound 15, I removed the temporary center frame after getting the keelson in place. I put a temporary brace amidships at the sheer to hold things a bit while I got the seat supports, side stringers and seat tanks in place. Designer Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 You can take out the temporary any time but I put a tie across (like a 1 x 2) the boat to hold the correct beam. I will leave it in as long as it is not in my way. The temp frame keeps the flair in the sides true. I have seen boats that have different flair in each side of the boat. About your earlier question about the inwale. It should go in as soon as you can put it in. The inwale fairs the upper side of the boat so that when you tab in the forward bulkhead you will have the proper angle between the sides and the bulkhead. Quote
