I am curious if anyone has taken note of the advertising campaign for this new school, located in the Michigan Upper Pennisula?  The ads have been running in "Wooden Boat", and "Boatbuilder", and maybe some other places too.  The link is: http://www.greatlakesboatbuilding.org/.

I have been watching their progress with some interest.  Was considering a short course later this year but family health issues probably won't allow being gone from home long enough to participate.  Had not gotten as far as cost etc. so can't comment on that.

It is hard to find any schools in the middle of the USA.  Seems most/all are on the East or West coast for some reason.  I plan to visit up there the first chance I get.  It is about a 6 or 7 hour drive from home, plus must cross the big bridge in an RV...scary thought.  If the winds are wrong, the bridge is restricted, the time to get there can be too lengthy.
