Back during the summer, when I through that I could actually start CS 20 #67, I built a 3 station cradle on six sets of casters. Before starting I reviewed all of the post about cradles and their pros and cons. The main supports were 2 pressure treated pine 4x4. When I picked them up at the store, I made sure that they were the straightest pair I could find. As in most pressure treated lumber from the local store, they were still fairly wet. After completing the cradle, I pushed it out of the way until needed.

I noticed last week that after several months of storage in my hot/dry garage the middle caster no longer touched the floor. It appears that as the 4x4 dried, it developed a bow. The center caster is about 1

It is annoying when that happens but the 4 x 4's have probably stabilised by now.

I would wait until you have the hull 3d, you should then be able to adjust the transverse cradle supports so that they fit your hull exactly and just leave the 4 x 4's bent.

The most important thing is to make sure that your hull does not sit twisted or that the cradle pushes the bottom out of fair.

I don't think that you need the center wheels. I would make sure that the aft and forward supports are level athwartships and leave out the center support out until you put the hull on the cradle, then put the center support on the cradle so that it fits to the hull. Assembled this way it does not matter if the 4 x 4s are bent.
